See, I TOLD you that the J-man would be just fine in his new digs. You are such a MOM sometimes...Sheesh. As for the war of the cats - do what I had to do this Summer with the new cats in my household - Get a can of compressed air like we use for cleaning out our computer keyboards, and at the first sign of fighting - spray them really fast with some cold Dust Off compressed air and they will come in line in about a week or so. Cats just HATE having their fur messed up and the sound will send them running in different directions. It does seem to work for me and I have 5 cats. MEOW.... We got through it with the aid of treats. Lots and lots of treats. Also, we made sure that the cats always had a place to go where they could get away from the puppy. If there is enough food, attention and sleeping spots to go around, everything else will work itself out. But it sounds like there aren't enough sleeping spots. Don't know how you can fix that without a closing door. Maybe some type of screen or gate? Good luck.
