My sister got thrown in jail.

Really.

Apparently there were outstanding warrants for her arrest, and they picked her up.

She’s up for a 10,000 dollar bond, which means we have to pay 1,000 dollars to get her out.

I don’t even know what the fuck she DID.

So this afternoon we are going to the lockup to bail her ass out.

I am… speechless.

Just speechless.

Just when I think things can get no worse and she can be no fucking deeper in the hole, some shit like this happens.

It’s a mess.

Couple that with the fact that I passed out into a door frame yesterday and am nursing what I believe is a mild concussion, and you have my weekend.

The excitement never stops.

Happy Saturday.

Where are her kids? Are they ok?

Oh god. I’m so sorry. If there’s anything I can do for you from over here, let me know.

This year? Needs to be over.

  • OrneryPest says:

But if you leave her in jail at least she’ll be getting room and board!

  • michele says:

as long as the kids are ok (like at the other grandma’s, not foster care) i’d let her stay there.

  • Christine C says:

To echo Nightowl, where are her kids? Wow. I’m sorry to hear this, both for her children, and for you and your mom. As far as your sister goes, I think OrneryPest has a very valid point!

  • So sorry to hear this. *hug*

I’m sorry to hear this, but why cause even more stress finance-wise on yourself? Go pickup the kids if need be and when it’s time for her to get out, she’ll be out and may be a little more motivated to take care of herself.

I know opinions are like assholes, but I can’t help myself. One thing I’ve learned from helping troubled people is that they have to earn theor way out of their own mess or it doesn’t count. Sounds heartless I know.
