I had an early-morning emergency appointment with my ophthalmologist, and thank GOD, it is only a bad infection.
It’s a really really bad infection, my cornea is shot and it will take a few weeks to clear up., but it’s an infection, not permanent, treatable.
I am so relieved that I can’t even begin to express it.

I am sorry to hear about the latest health-fuckery, but gald to hear that you will pull through. I have had to deal with enough opthomological crap myself (yay, corneal ulcers! …j/k – they keep telling me the next one I get, I will be blind ) to empathize. Hope all is well, and it’s good to hear from you again! Stay strong!
